A printable copy of this is information attached!

Documents required for Channel Racing in 2023:

1. Details of CPH Number
(Printed copy of a letter or email – Not on your phone or any other device. Marking station officials will keep this so your CPH number and address can be added to Channel Shipping paperwork. You will need to bring another copy to the next channel marking as it will not be returned.)

2. Proof of Registration with a Veterinary Practice
(Your Vet will provide this. This can be in the form of a printed email from your vet confirming you are registered with their practice.)

3. Loft Declaration – completed and signed by you within 12 months of the race date.
(A copy of this document is attached below for you to print, complete and sign.)

4. An Attestation Form supplied & signed by veterinarian when they visited your loft. (Within 12 months of the race date).
(This document should be given to you when the your Vet did your loft visit. Please contact your vet if you have not been given it.)

5. Copies of all Pigeon Paramyxovirus Vaccination Certificates – signed by (2) Club Officials, to confirm that all pigeons in your loft have been vaccinated within 12 months of the race date.
(Printed copies of vaccination certificates are best to bring to marking, in case the orginals get lost or damaged.)

Please make sure that you come to the marking station prepared and present your documents in a neat and organised manner, for example, in clear plastic folder, so they can be quickly and efficiently verified.

Do not expect to rectify and deficiencies in documentation at the marking station.

We will only keep the printed copy of the CPH number for our records – all other documentation will be checked and given back to you.

Best to keep original documents safe at home – bring copies.

Regardless of when you obtained your CPH Number, you will require a vet visit before you can race from the EU in 2023 and you must have had them with you before basketing for the first channel race. There is NOT a 12 month period of grace before you are required to have a vet visit.
